I wish there was a job called Internet Researcher. I would apply immediately. My Number 1 Go To is Google. When someone asks a question and I don’t have the answer, my answer is always GOOGLE IT!!
I think that anything can be found on the Internet if you know how to search for it.

Today, check out the sewing machine company websites. It doesn’t even have to be for the sewing machine that you use. Check out all of them. They have free patterns and tutorials and other free items available to use. Some even have free embroidery designs to download. If you have the proper software, you can convert them to use with your machine.

When I retired, I realized that I suddenly had 6 Saturdays and a Sunday. It is so hard to figure out what day of the week it is. Every day seems like a Saturday! (except Sunday because of church!)
I have taken Martha Pullen’s online certification for teaching beginning sewing. She has the best patterns – well-explained and easy to follow. They also have techniques that are just a little different from what I have been taught in the past. Here are a few of the items that I made for the course.
I officially retired on May 25th as a Director of Information Technology. I have taken the summer off to play in the pool and otherwise relax.
